BIO-RAD Australia Sydney Facility

ETG was engaged by Bio-Rad Laboratories in Q3 2021 for project services, with PC achieved in January 2022.

As Independent Commissioning Agent, ETG validated delivery and commissioning of specialist monitoring building services for Bio-Rad's new storage facility, intended to manage sensitive medical supplies including vaccines. The project involved fitting out a new office space and climate-controlled storage area.

ETG conducted a detailed project review, defining validation scope and assisting with IQ & PQ validation documents. They integrated with the client's PM team for weekly meetings, reviewed subcontractors' Commissioning Plans, and developed a detailed commissioning and validation framework.

ETG managed overall commissioning, ICT validation, integration, training, and service handover, developing integrated test scripts for fire, ICT packages, and site-wide Blackstart. They led the mapping process and reporting, establishing a detailed structure for facility reporting and integrating a BMS system for future operation analysis.

Despite challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, ETG collaborated with Bio-Rad, the main contractor, and stakeholders to ensure timely project completion. They engaged stakeholders to enhance project delivery, aiming for productivity and defect reduction.

ETG continued engagement with tenants during fit-outs to facilitate building integration, ensuring the best end deliverable to the client.
