In 2022, ETG was hired by John Holland as the main contractor for the Victorian Heart Hospital project. Their role included overseeing services and commissioning management, leading the integration and commissioning of building services, managing ICT packages, and vendor-client interfaces. The hospital, Australia's first dedicated heart facility, opened in February 2023 on the Monash University Clayton campus, housing the Monash Victorian Heart Institute for collaborative research, education, and patient care.

ETG reviewed project commissioning needs through workshops, finalizing a commissioning tracker and integrating build and service teams for optimal project results. They collaborated with the client's project management and IT teams to review network operations, delivering a streamlined methodology for parallel commissioning.

ETG led overall commissioning, ICT validation, integration, training, and service handover, developing integrated test scripts. They provided updates at client meetings and ensured transparency in commissioning activities. Post-practical completion, ETG managed defect liability period tuning.

Their focus was on stakeholder engagement, coordinating work for productivity and defect reduction. ETG aimed for the best end deliverable through their involvement, striving to reduce energy usage and maintenance costs in building tuning.
